Oxford 1/76 Bedford Qld Raf 2Nd Tactical A F
Bedfording QLD was the general service cargo truck version of their QL prototype and was built during WWII to carry 12 persons including the driver in their military role. Here we see it as deployed on the Western Front in 1944, carrying the allied star on the cab roof and the RAF roundel on each side of the canvas back. The body is decorated in a dark brown and olive drab camouflage colour scheme. The serviceing number RAF 105220 is printed in white below the radiator grille and again with the RAF roundel below the stretched canvasin-back.
