The Traxxas® Unlimited Desert Racer® (UDR) 6S RTR 4WD Race Truck with LED Lights and TQi 2.4GHz Radio is a top-tier, ready-to-run RC truck that combines extreme performance with realistic scale details. Powered by the Velineon® VXL-6s brushless system and a 2200kV motor, it achieves speeds exceeding 50 mph when equipped with dual 3S LiPo batteries. The truck features a Pro Scale® tube chassis, detailed interior, functional accessories and reinforced bumpers. Its suspension system includes long-travel aluminum GTR shocks and a solid rear axle with a 4-link setup, providing authentic off-road handling. The VXL-6s™ Waterproof Electronic Speed Control, paired with the Velineon® 2200Kv Brushless Motor, delivers high-performance power and durability. Designed for 6s LiPo compatibility, the ESC features an integrated cooling fan, machined heat sink, 3-LED status indicators, powered accessory ports, and 10-gauge silicone wiring for efficient power delivery and thermal management. It also supports real-time telemetry, enhancing control and diagnostics. The Velineon motor includes a 4-pole design, a robust five millimeter output shaft, and a finned can for improved heat dissipation, ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions.

Pro-Scale™ Body

The Traxxas UDR boasts a large Pro Scale® body packed with highly detailed replica parts that elevate realism and durability. Its heavy-duty truck body mounts secure to a functional tube frame chassis modeled after full-size trophy trucks. The detailed interior features lifelike driver figures, while scale components like brake calipers, seventeen millimeter wheel hubs, dual working spare tires, a spare driveshaft, and accessories such as fire extinguishers, shock reservoirs, a jack, and tools enhance its authentic appearance. Realistic side plates complete the rugged, true-to-life design, making it a standout in both performance and visual appeal.

Suspension & Drivetrain

The UDR features a robust drivetrain and advanced suspension system engineered for scale realism and rugged off-road performance. Up front, it includes steel CV driveshafts with six millimeter stub axles, an oil-filled limited-slip differential, and a heavy-duty splined driveshaft. The rear uses solid steel straight axles with a locked steel spool and a fixed-length steel driveshaft for maximum durability. Its suspension system delivers authentic handling with a tough double-wishbone setup in front and a triangulated 4-link rear with composite trailing arms and steel upper links. Eight long-travel aluminum GTR shocks—four with adjustable collars—along with realistic sway bars and functional rear limit straps, provide finely tuned, realistic off-road dynamics.

Change Of Mind Returns:

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a return, refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking and admin fee.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned - Fuel, Batteries, Books & Magazines.

Warranty/ Faulty Items: Refund or Exchange

If you are having trouble with any of your purchases, and suspect it could be a warranty issue, then please email or phone us to go through your item's history of use and background. We are very reasonable when it comes to faults, and will try and resolve any concerns you have as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Each product is covered by the respective manufacturers warranty policy and some products may have individual components that are covered by separate warranties and time frames. We do not offer any additional product warranties outside the manufacturer’s warranty.

Please discuss any warranty concerns with us before sending the items back to avoid any confusion and unnecessary costs. We will generally require you to send photos of the product with your purchase details for an initial assessment and we will go from there.

Postage costs will be at the returner’s expense and refunded if the product is proven to be covered by warranty.

If the product is required to be sent back to our suppliers for assessment, we will cover this cost.

We will always try to resolve any warranty concerns as quickly as possible, where any delay is incurred we will communicate this to you.

  • A warranty refers to any new product which has a manufacturing defect or a major failure within a reasonable period.
  • If the warranty relates to a minor failure then we may replace, repair or refund the item.
  • On assessment if the product is deemed as having a major failure, the customer can decide whether they would like a replacement, repair or refund.
  • A warranty does not apply to any wear and tear on a product, crash damage or a product being used outside it’s intended use.

The cost of shipping is determined as follows:

We have several checks in place to make sure you get the items that you are after and they reach you in good order. If for some reason you didn’t receive the item you ordered, it’s damaged or simply not what you expected then please let us know within 7 days of receiving so we can organize an exchange or refund, whichever you prefer! For items damaged in transit a picture of the packaging will be required.

If the mistake was made at our end, we will happily pay the return postage.

If no one is around when delivery is attempted, a delivery slip with contact information will be left for you to arrange a re-delivery (charges may apply).
