Aoshima was established all the way back in 1924. In those days, the company was an aeroplane research institute. A few short years passed and Aoshima turned their attention to manufacturing wooden model aeroplane kits, which quickly expanded into plastic kits and the Aoshima model car kits that we know and love today!
