Choosing a plug-and-play RC plane
Compare aircraft size, package contents, recommended experience and the equipment you already own. This range includes propeller-driven planes, gliders and EDF jets. Check the exact model and package designation before ordering; a PNP label does not establish beginner suitability or replace assembly and preflight instructions.
What equipment do I need separately?
Read the individual listing’s included equipment and required-to-complete information. Confirm the transmitter, receiver, flight battery and charger requirements for that exact version. Listings in this collection can have different package formats, including BNF Basic, so do not assume identical contents across the range.
Can I use my existing radio and battery?
Confirm transmitter-to-receiver compatibility, the required control channels and any flight-controller setup in the model’s instructions. Match the specified battery voltage, size, connector and charger requirements. Owning equipment from a particular brand does not by itself establish compatibility with every aircraft.
How much preparation is required?
Follow the model’s assembly, control setup, centre-of-gravity and preflight checks before flying. Check the recommended operating space and pilot experience. EDF jets, gliders and propeller-driven aircraft have different requirements; choose from the individual model guidance rather than assuming all PNP aircraft are equally easy to fly.
How do I choose between package formats?
If you want to compare packages, browse our ready-to-fly RC planes, bind-and-fly RC planes and almost-ready-to-fly RC planes. Check the exact included and separately required equipment for each version, together with current availability and replacement-part information.
