Yo-Yo's

Choosing a yo-yo

Compare the model’s response type, recommended experience level, size and age guidance. The range includes different designs; check the individual product description rather than assuming every yo-yo works the same way.

Response type and learning requirements

Some products are labelled responsive and others unresponsive. Check the model’s operating instructions and the skills required before choosing, particularly for a first yo-yo.

Strings, colours and included items

Check whether you are buying a yo-yo or replacement strings, how many items are included, and whether colours are assorted or selectable. Match replacement strings to the model’s guidance.

Yo-yo buying questions

Is every model suitable for a beginner?

No single design suits every player. Read the product’s experience and age guidance, response type and operating instructions before ordering.

Can I choose an assorted colour?

Check the product’s colour-selection information. Some assorted products are supplied at random; a pictured colour does not guarantee that colour will be sent.

Will every yo-yo return in the same way?

Response systems differ. Choose using the specific model’s description and follow its instructions for use and maintenance.
