Air Receivers

(26 products)

Air receivers are designed to be use on RC planes, RC helicopters & RC drones. These receivers are compact, lightweight and have phenomenal range! Aircraft receivers are available in a variety of different channel options, some are fitted with flight stabilization systems (gyro's) and some have redundancy systems built in.

We carry a comprehensive range of air receivers from Spektrum, Futaba & Flysky.

Remember: you can only use the same brand of remote & receiver - Other brands wont bind / link together.

RC aircraft receivers are essential components of the radio control system, receiving signals from the transmitter and translating them into control commands for the servos and other onboard electronics of the aircraft. Receivers come in various types and configurations to suit different applications and preferences. Here are some key considerations when choosing an RC aircraft receiver:

  1. Number of Channels: The number of channels on a receiver determines the number of control functions it can handle. Basic receivers may have fewer channels, suitable for simple aircraft with fewer control surfaces, while advanced receivers offer more channels for controlling additional features like flaps, retractable landing gear, lights, and other accessories.

  2. Compatibility: Ensure that the receiver you choose is compatible with your specific transmitter system and aircraft. Most receivers operate on the same frequency band (2.4GHz), but compatibility may vary depending on the brand and protocol used by the transmitter and receiver.

  3. Size and Weight: Consider the size and weight of the receiver, especially for smaller or lightweight aircraft where space and weight are critical factors. Some receivers are compact and lightweight, ideal for park flyers and micro aircraft, while others may be larger and heavier, suitable for larger models and applications where robustness is required.

  4. Range and Reliability: Look for receivers with reliable signal reception and a good range, especially for long-range flying or applications where signal interference may be a concern. Features like diversity antennas, fail-safe functionality, and telemetry capabilities can enhance the reliability and performance of the receiver.

  5. Features: Consider additional features offered by the receiver, such as failsafe functionality, telemetry capabilities for real-time monitoring of aircraft parameters, and compatibility with flight stabilization systems or gyroscopes for enhanced stability and control.

  6. Price: Compare prices and features across different receiver models to find the best balance of performance and value for your budget.

By considering these factors, you can choose the right RC aircraft receiver to suit your flying needs and preferences, ensuring reliable control and performance for your aircraft.
