Order preparation and confirmed invoice printing
Hobbytech Order Manager is an operational application used by Hobbytech Toys staff to manage eligible Shopify orders and invoice printing for warehouse picking.
The application queues eligible orders, sends invoice PDFs to the warehouse printer, and checks printer job confirmations before marking an order Printed. This helps staff track completed printing and avoid duplicate invoices.
Why the app uses Gmail
Authorised staff connect a dedicated printer-confirmation Gmail mailbox. The app requests Gmail read-only access to retrieve relevant Kyocera job-log emails and their XML attachments. These records confirm whether the printer completed an invoice job successfully. Gmail API access does not allow the app to send, modify or delete emails.
This application is for Hobbytech Toys operations. Customers do not need to connect a Google account to place an order.
