Warranty/ Faulty: Refund or Exchange
If you are having trouble with any of your purchases, and suspect it could be a warranty issue, then please email or phone us to go through your item's history of use and background. We are very reasonable when it comes to faults, and will try and resolve any concerns you have as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Each product is covered by the respective manufacturers warranty policy and some products may have individual components that are covered by separate warranties and time frames. We do not offer any additional product warranties outside the manufacturer’s warranty.
Please discuss any warranty concerns with us before sending the items back to avoid any confusion and unnecessary costs. We will generally require you to send photos of the product with your purchase details for an initial assessment and we will go from there.
Postage costs will be at the returner’s expense and refunded if the product is proven to be covered by warranty.
If the product is required to be sent back to our suppliers for assessment, we will cover this cost.
We will always try to resolve any warranty concerns as quickly as possible, where any delay is incurred we will communicate this to you.
- A warranty refers to any new product which has a manufacturing defect or a major failure within a reasonable period.
- If the warranty relates to a minor failure then we may replace, repair or refund the item.
- On assessment if the product is deemed as having a major failure, the customer can decide whether they would like a replacement, repair or refund.

The Kyosho Tomahawk '85 WC Worlds Spec Electric 2WD Buggy Kit is a faithful recreation of one of the most iconic competition buggies from the golden era of R/C racing. Inspired by the machine driven by Akira Kogawa at the inaugural IFMAR World Championship in 1985, this limited-production release blends vintage style with meaningful modern upgrades. Built as part of Kyosho’s celebrated Vintage Series, it captures the spirit of early electric off-road competition while enhancing performance and durability.

Stainless Steel Ladder Frame & Reinforced Chassis
One of the standout upgrades is the newly implemented stainless steel ladder frame, a concept originally prototyped in 1985 but never released—until now. This frame works in combination with A7075 duralumin rear suspension and gearbox plates to dramatically increase chassis rigidity. The result is a more stable platform that performs confidently under modern racing conditions while preserving the original Tomahawk layout. These structural improvements elevate durability and handling without compromising its vintage authenticity.
Enhanced Suspension & Precision Handling Components
The Tomahawk ’85 WC Spec features numerous suspension refinements designed for improved control and responsiveness. Reinforced front components, including a steel caster lock and CNC-machined arm shaft block, boost rigidity where it matters most. Newly designed FRP shock towers front and rear replicate the 1985 race-spec setup while providing consistent flex characteristics. Combined with updated kingpins and oil-filled shocks, this buggy delivers precise handling and tunability suited for a variety of track conditions.
Upgraded Drivetrain & Race-Ready Features
Modern performance enhancements extend to the drivetrain, where a ball differential—once an optional upgrade—is now included as standard equipment. A slipper clutch is also equipped to handle both brushed and brushless motor setups, ensuring reliable power delivery.
