Warranty/ Faulty: Refund or Exchange
If you are having trouble with any of your purchases, and suspect it could be a warranty issue, then please email or phone us to go through your item's history of use and background. We are very reasonable when it comes to faults, and will try and resolve any concerns you have as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Each product is covered by the respective manufacturers warranty policy and some products may have individual components that are covered by separate warranties and time frames. We do not offer any additional product warranties outside the manufacturer’s warranty.
Please discuss any warranty concerns with us before sending the items back to avoid any confusion and unnecessary costs. We will generally require you to send photos of the product with your purchase details for an initial assessment and we will go from there.
Postage costs will be at the returner’s expense and refunded if the product is proven to be covered by warranty.
If the product is required to be sent back to our suppliers for assessment, we will cover this cost.
We will always try to resolve any warranty concerns as quickly as possible, where any delay is incurred we will communicate this to you.
- A warranty refers to any new product which has a manufacturing defect or a major failure within a reasonable period.
- If the warranty relates to a minor failure then we may replace, repair or refund the item.
- On assessment if the product is deemed as having a major failure, the customer can decide whether they would like a replacement, repair or refund.

This is the Meng 1/700 Aircraft Carrier Liaoning Plastic Model Kit
The Type 001 aircraft carrier Liaoning is China's first operational aircraft carrier. Originally an unfinished Soviet-era vessel named Varyag, it was purchased by China from Ukraine in the late 1990s. After overcoming numerous challenges, it was transported to China in 2002 and underwent a decade of extensive modifications before being officially commissioned in 2012 with the pennant number '16.' As a pioneer in the development of the Chinese Navy, Liaoning has continuously enhanced its combat capabilities through ongoing modernization. In 2024, a systematic overhaul was conducted, which included a comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the ship's structure as well as upgrades to its radar and electronic warfare systems. These upgrades significantly improved its capabilities in information gathering, electronic countermeasures, and firepower, providing stronger support for future naval combat scenarios.
In October 2024, the Liaoning carrier task group conducted distant-sea combat training, during which Liaoning and Shandong carrier groups carried out their first dual-carrier formation exercise. This joint operation not only demonstrated the growing maturity of China's carrier strike groups but also provided valuable practical experience for future multi-carrier coordinated operations.
This MENG PS-010 Aircraft Carrier Liaoning is a 1/700 scale plastic model kit. Once assembled, the model measures 437.2mm in length, 104.7mm in width, and 92.3mm in height (excluding the base). It accurately replicates the exterior features and details of Liaoning after the overhaul in 2024. This kit features parts of different injected colors and easy assembly. This kit includes hangar interiors, same scale carrier-based aircraft like J-15, J-35, Z-18 and Z-20, and fine decals.
The PS-010 Aircraft Carrier Liaoning can be perfectly paired with MENG's other products, such as the 1/700 scale Aircraft Carrier Shandong and Type-055 guided-missile destroyer. Together, they allow you to recreate your own Liaoning carrier group or dual-carrier formation, fully restoring the awe-inspiring scenes of modern naval fleets.
This kit includes detailed and beautifully printed decals for deck markings and carrier-based aircraft insignias.
